Five Star Awarded NYC DOT Broadway Bridge Project

We are very happy to announce that Five Star as a subcontractor to Tutor Perini Civil, will be performing renovations to the Broadway Bridge located between West 220th Street in Manhattan and West 225th Street in the Bronx. Three subway tracks are carried on its upper deck, and a four-lane two-way roadway on its lower deck. The bridge spans the Harlem River and is a vertical lift bridge similar to the Harlem River Lift Bridge, which we previously worked on for Metro-North Railroad. The project is being administered by the NYC Department of Transportation with involvement from MTA. Our work includes controls, power distribution, backup power and systems work.
