East Side Access CQ33 development required construction of a storage yard facility for commuter railcars within the Sunnyside Yard and Harold Interlocking area in Queens, NY. It included the installation of signals, traction power, communications and lighting. Five Star Electric served as the electrical contractor installing conduit and cable for signals, facility power and traction power. In addition, Five Star completed the installation and wiring of three substations, eight signal huts, three facility buildings and overhead catenary lighting.
